The East of England Cancer Alliance has one Board to cover the East of England region.
The Board plans and leads the delivery of transformation required to locally implement the Long Term Plan, taking a whole-pathway and cross organisational approach working with systems in the East of England.
The Board facilitates reductions in unwarranted variation and improvements in patient outcomes and experience, enabling access to high-quality, evidence-based interventions across the care pathways. The Cancer Alliance is hosted by Cambridge and Peterborough ICB and is aligned to the work of the National Cancer Programme.
