The NHS has launched the latest phase in its Help Us Help You campaign.

The campaign retains the Jack in the Box image used earlier in the year and builds on this message, with an additional focus to target black and minority ethnic communities.

The Jack in the box concept tackles the tendency of people to procrastinate over worries about their symptoms, rather than going to get them checked out at their GP practice.

Many people find their concerns are unfounded, getting them checked out earlier enables peace of mind, and if the symptoms are cancer-related, it enables a cancer diagnosis to be dealt with earlier, thereby enabling the patient to have a better chance of a successful treatment.
