Genetic Revolution
Some types of cancer may be inherited (mainly breast, ovarian, colorectal and prostate cancer). Certain genes may be faulty or be variants that may cause an increased risk of cancer for family members. DNA testing is currently available for some cancers, as research develops widespread testing will become a normal screening test.
