Our Vision

Transforming cancer services to deliver better outcomes for patients in the East of England

Patient Involvement - Experts by Experience

At the core of our work is patient experience.  This forms part of our key values and enables us to include the patient voice at the heart of cancer service improvement.

Patient perspective informs what we do and how we transform cancer services in the East of England.  Co-producing improvements collaboratively with patients employs the knowledge and insight patients can offer, making them equal experts by experience.  This provides a strong foundation on which to build sustainable services, reduce variation across the region and improve health outcomes.

To get involved in cancer service transformation you might like to consider joining our Patient Advisory Board, or indeed any of the cancer support groups signposted on our website.
